2015 Dodge SRT Viper review: Our expert's take

The SRT Viper returned in 2013 following a brief hiatus. It packs a massive 8.4-liter V-10 engine that makes 640 horsepower and 600 pounds-feet of torque. This rear-wheel-drive exotic sports car comes only with a six-speed manual transmission and is offered in base, GT and GTS trim levels. The Viper is offered as a coupe only and competes with the Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 911 and Nissan GT-R.

The SRT receives a GT model and several styling updates. The GT includes features such as driver-selectable suspension system, unique leather seats and more. The 8.4-liter V-10 engine has also experienced minor adjustments to improve gas mileage. Dodge has added a limited-edition GTS Ceramic Blue Edition Package for the SRT Viper.

Monster V10 motor, 6 speed manual and huge tires..

It's an amazing piece of engineering that should cost three times the price. It's got Ferrari and Lamborghini engineering in its DNA so it's a huge bargain. It's not the meek or the weak willed, but it truly delivers on rarity, exotic looks and tremendous performance.
